Students In Action

sia_imageSkillsUSA offers a variety of competitions for Graphic Design students. The students pictured are training for the district vinyl sign competition. They will compete with many local schools to earn the opportunity to go to the state competition. If they are successful at the state level, they will then participate at the national competition in Louisville, Kentucky.

sia_imageStudents in SkillsUSA have the opportunity to compete against other schools in their program area content. These automotive technology students practice the skills learned in the classroom and lab to apply hands-on during a competition.

sia_imageSkillsUSA prepares students for the “real world” through hands-on competition. They compete against other chapters at local, district and state levels and possibly compete at the SkillsUSA National competition. The events are based on the area a student is training in, so whether that’s Graphic Arts, Construction Technology, Automotive Technology or Welding Technology there is an area for you to compete in.
