Teaching has never been more complicated or more important. And with extraordinary demand for new teachers and the urgent need to close gaps in the teaching workforce, we must address the pipeline now.

Educators Rising cultivates highly skilled educators by guiding young people on a path to becoming accomplished teachers, beginning in high school and extending through college and into the profession.

Students In Action

sia_imageStudents in Educators Rising develop leadership and professional skills through conferences and workshops. The Missouri leadership training in Jefferson City is an example. Leadership and planning activities led by Ann Jarrett, the Missouri Educators Rising Coordinator, provided ideas for community service projects, fund raising, and tips for competitive events.

sia_imageEducators Rising Officer team attended state leadership training. Serving as an officer in Educators Rising is an excellent opportunity to develop leadership skills and experience in leading a group. Officers are responsible for the coordination of activities and events at the local level.

sia_imageOur Educators Rising chapter hosts special events for the Small World Preschool at NRTC. This Halloween event is one example of the fun our members have working with the preschool students.
